So I let that happen for a long while, weren't bothering me since they NEVER reached my base. Sometimes the roof would collapse on them and they would swarm out for a few seconds and return to their mountain without reaching my base and sometimes they dealt with pirates which spawned next to them. So I thought screw it and made a no go zone there for my animals and colonists. They immediately broke the walls and swarmed after taking damageĪnd since I cant build on water, I couldn't make the walls thicker to have more time heating the room.
Then I had this smart Idea on freezing/cooking/burning them but that didn't work either. Obviously I tried to deal with them with my few colonists but they wrecked me, couldn't even hurt them. Now after a "few" dozen hours (still) playing on my first world an infestation event popped up in a very small mountain I mined at a long while ago.
